2000 Exhibition Schedule

Unless noted otherwise, openings are the first day of the show (typically a Friday) from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Most shows close on a Friday. The Push Pin Show
February 11 – February 26, 2000
Atlanta photographers were invited to bring un-matted prints to the gallery. Prints were attached to the wall with push pins. Small entry fee was charged. Members and those who joined opening night entered and posted for free.

Juried by Cathy Byrd. "Motorcycles, masks and mud. A bittersweet birthday. Secret
passages and flickering signs. The ecstasy in a bending leaf. Dark-eyed looks and sensual spider veins. Rituals, rust and red-haired girls. Photographs by Women tell endless stories."
Year 2000 Alternative Processes
August 4 – September 9, 2000
Juried by Uri Vaknin. Artists using alternative photographic processes are typically interested in creating a stand alone aesthetic object. It may or may not make a personal statement but is not tied to representing reality.

October 6 – November 11, 2000
Juried by Jane Jackson. Photographic images made on or after January 1, 2000. Show was open to all photographers in the United States. - 18 years or older.
Southern Exposure 2000
December 2, 2000 – February 3, 2001
Juried by Mary Virginia Swanson. Each of the five artists on view in this exhibition demonstrated spirited exploration of their subjects, and have thoughtfully interpreted their images via well-executed prints. They are each to be commended for the strengths of their overall bodies of work.
