APG is pleased to announce Choice 2019. This non-juried exhibition is open to all current members. This is your chance to show a personal favorite or get feedback on a new direction. It's your choice!
Lynn Marshall-Linnemeier walks participants through the standard grant application process, including a writing workshop session that addresses common questions, and how to submit project grant to an agency.
In this workshop, Atlanta based photographer and conceptual artist Michael Reese will illustrate the role that form, content, and context play in interpreting and creating meaning from a photograph.
Join Atlanta Photography Group (APG) and SCAD/Atlanta for a special presentation by multidisciplinary artist Le’Andra LeSeur. LeSeur will give a brief introduction into her artistic journey and practice, to be followed by a screening of her project brown, carmine, and blue, which received the prestigious Juried Grand Prize at Artprize 10 in Grand Rapids, MI.
Elizabeth Turk returns to lead the Critique Group this March. Turk is a photography professor at the Atlanta campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her work is in the permanent collections of the High Museum of Art, Polaroid Corporate Collection, Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, and others.
