Gain fresh perspectives with APG and associate curator Gregory Harris for an inside look at the High Museum’s current photography exhibitions: Look Again: 45 Years of Collecting Photography and William Christenberry: Time & Texture. Harris will give an insider’s look at both exhibitions. It’s a great opportunity to visit and discuss the exhibitions and with the curator.
Christina Price Washington returns to lead the Critique Group this April. Her work has been featured in Slow Exposures, curated by Brett Abbott and Julian Cox – former curators of photography at the Paul J. Getty Museum; Rising Movers & Shakers of the Georgia Arts Scene at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Georgia; Art Basel Miami, FL.
Design Salon is chaired by H. Gay Allen, and members participate in design discussion/education; inspirational critiques; creative challenges; and individualized encouragement. Bring up to four photographic prints to present.
Please join us for a talk with Southern Currents jurors Judith Pishnery and Beth Lilly, where they will discuss the process for selecting the artists and their images for the exhibition and take questions regarding the included photographs.
