This workshop is designed to help participants craft well-written artist statements that are accessible and concise for their viewers. Participants will be introduced to key elements of writing an artist statement, learn common pitfalls to avoid, and engage in a writing session to improve their current statements.
APG favorite Barbara Griffin returns to lead September's discussion. Griffin is an independent Creative Director and Photo Editor. She serves as Board President for Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP), a non-profit arts organization which produces the largest annual community-oriented photo festival in the U.S.
