We are pleased to announce that Caroline Chamberlain’s photo “The Unnoticed No.2” is our 32nd annual PUSH-PiN People's Choice Winner. Chamberlain wins a waived entry fee into a juried APG exhibition, and a $50 tuition credit to an APG Workshop. Congratulations, Caroline! PUSH-PiN is up through Jan 25.
We are busy making plans for our 32nd Annual PUSH-PiN party, set to happen Friday, January 11, 2019. We’ll provide the pins, pizza, and beer (courtesy by Monday Night Brewing), so you make sure to have your best prints ready for one of our biggest nights of the year. This year’s PUSH-PiN will feature 2 special judges to select awardees: Barbara Griffin, Independent creative director, producer, photo editor and popular APG Critique group leader, and Tony Casadonte, Gallery Director of Lumière and APG board member.

This year, in addition to the People’s Choice Award, we invited three judges to choose 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place prize winners from our participating artists. The panel of judges comprised of Susan Bridges, owner of Whitespace Gallery, Amy Miller, Director of Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP), Bill Boling, Founder and owner of Fall Line Press. The winners received gift cards from vendors including, Atlanta School of Photography (ASOP), Hunt's Photo & Video, and Binder's Art Supply, as well as APG membership. We've lined up four excellent judges for our 31st Annual PUSH PiN party/exhibition: Amy Miller, executive director of Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP), Bill Boling, owner and publisher of Fall Line Press, Nancy McCrary, publisher and editor-in-chief of South x Southeast photomagazine, and Susan Bridges, owner of Whitespace Gallery. This esteemed panel of judges will pick 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners at 8:30pm on Friday, January 12th. PUSH PiN is open to all. Entry is $10 for non-members, APG members enter free.

This year's Push Pin attendees voted on their favorite photographs, and we're pleased to announce the top three artists to receive the most stars. First place went to John Sumner, who won free entry into this year's Choice exhibition, second place went to Valerie Gruner, who will receive two tickets to the Goal Train Funkraiser on March 26, and Q Oliver, who received photo-books from the growing APG Bookstore: Willard Pate's With Animals, Beth Lilly's The Oracle @ WiFi, and a copy of the Portfolio 2016 catalog.
