Forest McMullin returns to lead the Atlanta Photography Group – Critique Group for December 2019. McMullin is a freelance photographer, consultant, and photographic educator based in Atlanta, Georgia. For over twenty-five years he has been providing distinctive photographs to Fortune 500 corporations, graphic design firms, advertising agencies, and numerous business and general interest magazines. He specializes in photographing people on location and is respected for his ability to bring out their dignity while still showing them with directness and honesty. He works regionally, nationally, and internationally. McMullin received a BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MFA from SUNY at Brockport. His work is in the permanent collections of George Eastman House, International Museum of Photography, American Society of Media Photographers, Visual Studies Workshop, Rochester Institute of Technology, The Buffalo Museum of Science, and Finger Lakes Community College.

Critique Group is for APG members only, but we welcome an exploratory visit. Participants are limited to 6 prints, 8 x 10-ish to 17 x 22-ish. If you’d like to present your work, put your name on the sign-up sheet when you arrive. Critiques are timed so everyone gets equal consideration. No work? No problem, observing is just as valuable.
