Over his 35 years as one of the leading art dealers in Atlanta, Avery is credited with forging relationships and placement of numerous works of art with many leading institutions and museums across the country. During his 30+ year career Avery has brought to the city major exhibitions of some of the most important artists of our time, including Robert Rauschenberg, Roy Lichtenstein, Joan Miro, David Hockney, Alexander Calder, Chuck Close, Fredrick Hart, Jim Dine, Helen Frankenthaler, and Kara Walker.
"My goal is to bring together collectors with works of fine art while developing the collectors awareness of technique, composition, and experience. Art education and appreciation is a responsibility that I take seriously and hope that collectors learn to recognize works of art as a soulful experience rather than just items of decoration."
