Join the Atlanta Photography Group (APG) for People, Places, Things at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center, in Madison Ga, for a group exhibition juried by Dr. Samuel Gerace III, photo curator at the Booth Museum in Cartersville, GA. Each artist featured in the exhibition presents photographic works featuring People, Places or Things, from traditional to imagined.

Please join us for a talk by Samuel Gerace III, where he will discuss the process for selecting the artists and their images for the exhibition and take questions regarding the included photographs.
Dr. Samuel Gerace III is the Curator of Photography at the Booth Western Art Museum. He studied Fine Art at Shorter University, focusing on traditional oil and egg tempera painting along with darkroom techniques and materials. Samuel received his Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh in Art History, while he received his second Masters in Celtic Studies from the University of Wales. His research areas include: medieval art, historical photography, alternative photography processes, and the power of art to create memories and inspire beliefs.
Since 1987, APG has been the center and resource for people who are seriously passionate about photography as an art form. An inclusive organization, APG strives to be a center that builds community and facilitates creative interaction. The organization provides opportunities for everyone, from people who have just picked up a camera to people who have devoted years to their art.
