A Great Loss for APG
We are very sorry to report that Ted Maloof passed away on the afternoon of December 21, 2017. Ted experienced a mild fall in October and suffered a small fracture. We all felt he would quickly rebound after a short period in rehab, but It was not to be. APG is deeply saddened at this loss, and our thoughts are with his wife Gloria and son Julin. We will be planning an appropriate tribute for our dear friend in the near future. At this time, we do not have any information on a memorial service. When we do, we will share on our Facebook page.
The 31st annual PUSH-PiN party and exhibition is just two weeks away. For this year's event, we are partnering with the Atlanta School of Photography (ASoP) to offer incredible prizes and party features. Our four amazing jurors to select this year’s awardees are Susan Bridges, owner of Whitespace Gallery, Amy Miller, Director of Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP), Bill Boling, Founder and owner of Fall Line Press, and Nancy McCrary, Publisher of South x Southeast photo magazine. Registration begins Friday, January 12, at 6:30pm and doors open at 7pm. Check the website in the coming days for more details.
2017 Matching Funds Campaign
Last year was such a success that APG Keystone members have generously pledged to donate $10,000, again, this year, provided that the membership at large matches that tax deductible donation. Please take advantage of this opportunity to support APG and double the benefit. Click here to donate today.
