Call For Entry: Portfolio 2018
APG is looking for strong, cohesive bodies of work for our most prestigious exhibition: Portfolio. Although there is no theme, images submitted should represent a single project, idea, or vision. We will consider still images from all processes, both traditional and digital. As we receive submissions, APG will post some of the images to our Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, and Twitter accounts. This year’s juror, Sam Barzilay, will select one body of work each from 6-8 artists for exhibition in the APG Gallery this January, 2017. All exhibiting artists will be eligible for this year's APG/High Museum of Art Purchase Award of $2500, which includes admittance into the permanent collection of the High Museum.
APG is pleased to announce its first Portfolio Review session. Participating artists will receive concise and constructive feedback on their personal portfolios. Each artist will receive a 30 minute review session with one of our two reviewers: APG Executive Director Beth Lilly and Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP) Board President Barbara Griffin. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended. Date: Nov 18 Deadline to Register: Nov 12 Price: $90 for APG members ($125 general public) Slots Available: 10

This program, not limited to APG members, gives artists and photographers access to a wide selection of durable frames through our inventory for a low rental fees. Frame Loan Program works like your local library checkout system.
